I. A unique gift: Staircase of a Thousand steps.

II.Title:Staircase of a Thousand Steps, Author Masha Hamilton,2001,Published by BlueHen Books.

III. This novel show how a young girl can go through so much bu still have the courage to keep walking forward  and persevering. After all this is a bildungsroman and this is a coming of age story. Jammana is the girl that goes through this important journey. At first Jammana was a young tom boy that hanged out and was mostly around with her father. She really didn't spend time with her mother and didn't have a lot of time of her own. Her mother also didn't really teach her the things she did and Jammana didn't learn the thing she was to suppose and expected to know how to do, like to cook. She lived in a small village in Jordan in the Middle East and this village was like any other they worked together to survive. the village went through a lot of struggles and hardships in the story but it help her understand the place she lived in and the world around her. Later in the novel many strong things happened that will change Jammana life for ever. her and her family moved to America and hard time living because of were they came from. Her father couldn't become a doctor even thought her was certified they just didn't like the way he spoke. but most importantly was the death of her mother. Now that her mother we all know now what Jammana as the only women in the house has to do. She has to stay strong and take the spot of her mother. She had to fit in her mother shoes and keep the "women" alive in her family.SHE HAD TO BE STRONG AND BECOME A WOMEN A WOMEN IN WAYS OF HER MOTHER WANTS HER TO BE.

IV."She doesn't reply. she doesn't even pause. she doesn't even dare pause. (Hamilton 111).

V.When i read this a cold chill ran down my spine as if i was watching something amazing happen in a movie. The way Faridah handle the situation she was in was very wise and very brave. The things what Harif were saying that she has lost her warrior knowledge on how to be one was very cruel. But they may have their own definitions of a warrior and Harif doesn't see that in Faridah.

My Life and Work

I. The Ideas of Business: My Life and Work

II. Title: My Life and Work, Author: Henry Ford,1922, Published by CruGuru

III.  The plot of this autobiography was the ideas of business and the way it was ran in Henry Ford eyes. What he wrote was his own opinions but where strong opinion that where supported by facts based on the real world. He wrote many strong ideas that I agreed when I read them. One of them was that people work for only the money and don't put their full effort. He also wrote that an average man looking for a job always wants the easiest job and if he can't do it without a machine it would not be done at all. Since Ford thought about these things he of course would not let this would happen in his business. That why Ford was so successful because he was a hard working man and did things others thought where impossible. He invented the first automobile and always found ways to make it better.
There where not many characters that where named in his autobiography. He just referred to the people and the workers in his time he didn't really mention any names. But he lived in Detroit Michigan where the first automobile was made. This story took place during the years 1879-1921 but the auto biography where mostly based on the years of 1890-1900 where the Ford company was because known around the world and his business really took off.

IV. "Everything is possible..."faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."(Ford 164).

V.  This quote is what Ford thought and what made him be so successful. He strive to make the impossible possible and that is what him be so successful. In this section he was describe what the future may hold and what business would be like in the future. This quote is what Ford believed in and what inspired him in making the first car and many other things as well. He made the impossible possible and that's what he wants others to do.
